The Philadelphia issued Morgan Dollar of 1901 is a widely pursued coin. While there are a fair number of circulated coins available, uncirculated examples are a different story entirely.
Graded MS62 by NGC (Cert. No. 592978), this coin exhibits a medium strike, strong cartwheel, is very lightly toned throughout, has a clean cheek, and no major marks. The absence of abrasions in the open fields removes all doubt about its uncirculated status.
Surely, a great value next to so many inferior coins in 62 slabs and much higher priced coins in 63 holders.
