The 1864-S Quarter is an extremely difficult date to locate. With a paltry mintage of only 20,000 it's no wonder. Curiously, I seldom even see damaged coins of this civil war date.
The coin shows off expected detail, minimal marks and nice antique golden gray color.
Graded VF35 by PCGS (Cert. No. 37161227), this is a real prize for the collector of the series by date / mintmark.
