The 1873 Arrows Seated Half Dollar is widely available to collectors of the series.
The present variety, however, is not. Notable for its status as the most widely spread doubled die in the series, it is most identifiable by 4 vertical lines in the shield versus the normal 3, however additional details are rendered in many other areas as well.
This coin is very original, but does have a couple of black streaks on the reverse, apparently from foreign matter struck into the coin.
