$2.50 1854 Gold $2 1/2 Quarter Eagle - PCGS MS62 CAC PQ
The 1854 is not an uncommon date in the Liberty Quarter Eagle series, however, this coin displays uncommonly nice original color, and deserves credit for that.
With no singularly important marks and nice luster throughout, the coin should warrant the PCGS accorded grade of MS62 (Cert. No. 24160694) even without the toning. That the coin is so obviously original and visually inviting should push the grade higher than it is, in my opinion.
