Commem $2.50 Gold 1926 Sesquicentennial Commemorative Quarter Eagle - Choice BU
I never really thought of most Sesqui Gold $2.50 as being softly struck, but after seeing this coin, I have new perspective.
This coin is more sharply struck than any other of this issue I have seen, including the highest graded pieces. Please compare this coin against the online images of others you can find to see what I mean.
I'll point out two very light hairlines running SW to NE on the obverse. I have not tried submitting this coin, because I do not believe it will grade, but I am not positive.
With booming luster, moderate marking and amazing detail, this coin is easily worth the asking price, but reasonable offers will be entertained.
